Coach Patrick Edouard Biography

Patrick Edouard is a personal trainer, SDBA, Futbol player with 25+ years’ experience in coaching Futbol. He also maintains his “E” and “D” licenses through the U.S. Soccer Federation and is currently obtaining his “A” license. He was born in Gonaives, Haiti and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 1984, when he was 14-years-old. His parents and older siblings instilled in him strong work ethics and values, he was taught to be responsible and hold himself accountable for his actions.

He graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School. Thereafter, he attended Broward Community College majoring in Social Science. In search of furthering his degree, he moved to Maryland and continued his studies in Business at Montgomery College. During his high school and college years, he had the privilege of meeting and playing Futbol with a group of Pro Haitian Futbolers who met regularly at a local soccer park. Those players were from a diverse part of Haiti and each one had their own style of play. This is where he felt his love and passion for Futbol started and grew stronger rapidly.

Coach Patrick and his brother, Coach Ludwig, met a gentleman from Germany named Joe who played with the Haitian group often. Joe saw the tenacity both brothers played with and their ability to keep up and play against stronger and more experienced professional Futbol players. One summer, Joe invited both brothers to come out every morning where he was teaching the true fundamentals of real Futbol. Little did the brothers know that Joe was a Division I Futbol player from Germany who had moved to the United States.

Since 1998, he began training individuals with weightlifting and exercises which prompted him to take classes with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and obtain his certification as an Elite Trainer to advance his personal training career. This certification coupled with his extensive Futbol training allowed him to incorporate a modern style of fundamental techniques, which sets him apart from others, by creating a combination of strength-training and cardiovascular work together.

In 2005, he and his brother started their first Futbol Training Program in Maryland called ABC School of Soccer. This program used the same basic fundamental teachings and practices that both brothers were exposed to at an early age. Since then, ABC School of Soccer has had the privilege of leading over 70 athletes to both Division I and Division II universities across the United States. In February 25th, 2023 God has given him a chance to reach another milestone; the privilege to lead his high school team (Western Christian HS) to CIF victory. It is his prayer to be able to continue this work with the Sentinels FC while representing the love of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven.
